2.15 The Mule

remain-seatedIf the current Shotgunner chooses to remain in the automobile while the other passengers accomplish their deed, they may retain full rights to Shotgun. Often times not everyone needs to go inside when completing menial Deeds. Examples: Running to the ATM or Dropping off a Package.

2.15.1 Abuse of The Mule Rule: If a person is willing to wait in the car for extensive periods of time in order to retain the rights to Shotgun, they are to be considered a Shotgun Gaper.

    Recommend including a part in the Mule Rule that allows the person in shotgun position to retain shotgun when specifically asked to run an errand outside the vehicle for the driver (ie. Running inside to get the pizza when no place to park).
