switchIf someone is driving an automobile other than its owner and the owner becomes a passenger, then the owner automatically gets Shotgun. When applied, this rule shows respect to the owner of the car.

3.6.1 The owner of the vehicle must be able to carry out the responsibilities of Shotgun to retain Shotgun privileges. No one wants a passed out Shotgunner on the lookout!

3.6.2 The owner of the vehicle is assigned by the person who’s name appears on the vehicle’s title. An example may be a father may buy their child a car. His name is on the title, but he has assigned the owner of the car as his child.
